March Flight Itinerary

March at FCBC (and with Flight Ministry) is jam-packed!! There are so many things happening each week, so if you can, come back for the entire month!

Don't miss out on any of these upcoming activities--especially as we remember the great work of Jesus Christ on the cross to give us life with the Father. We hope you take a moment this month to recognize the Lord of your life and that a Savior came to live, die, and rise again to be in each of us today. Christ is alive in each of us today!

Customs: Summer Missions Info Sessions
#1 - 12:15p, February 28, Life Center 304
#2 - 12:15p, March 13, Life Center 207
Come find out more opportunities and information about our summer trips. We'll take some time to seek God's direction for you and our ministry. Information will be given, questions answered, stomachs filled (with RSVP). See this post for more info. Can't make it, but still have questions? Email/text/chat Darren [darrenlo(at)fcbc(dot)org].

Prayer Conference
March 5 - 6
FCBC is hosting a weekend focused on prayer. We start Saturday, Mar 5, 1-3pm (Worship Center) through Sunday, Mar 6, all morning (Passage + Service) and afternoon 1:30-4pm (Worship Center). Make plans to attend all sessions to capture God's heart for prayer and ways we can integrate more prayer into our church together.

Spencer Sun's Ordination
Sunday, March 13 @ Worship Service
What is "ordination" (or "ordain")? Answer: When a church senses that God has led a person into ministry, it is a common practice to have a council (usually of pastors/deacons) review their testimony of salvation, their pastoral calling from the Lord, and their qualifications (including theological preparation and/or scriptural qualifications according to 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9) for ministry. Based upon that interview the church typically decides whether or not ordination would be appropriate. Spencer passed this process and we'll be acknowledging his call to be a deacon of the church during service, come and celebrate with us!

Resurrection Week
Palm Sunday - March 20 (10:45am)  |  Good Friday - March 25 (7:30pm)  |  Resurrection Sunday - March 27 (10:45am)
FCBC will be focusing on the saving life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for a whole week. At each of these events, we'll be walking through the last days of Christ and experience His life as He fulfilled God's purpose in humility. Come ready and open to this great reminder of our salvation and the enduring love exemplified through the Son from the Father. Don't hesitate to invite your friends to any and all of these meaningful events.

Lift Off! Easter
March 17 - 26
We'll spend the 10 days leading up to Resurrection (Easter) Sunday to help us anticipate, remember, and draw close to the power of the cross. Keep your eyes on the blog and FB group for updates.
