Flight Report, 2.10.2014

My apologies for not posting any updates the last number of weeks. I've been swamped, and even updating this site with news and events has been difficult. In my personal busy season, I've been resting on two verses of promise: "Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary." (Is 40:31). “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me." (2 Cor 12:9). You're inevitably going to have a busy season, too. I hope you find that strength will come from God if we lean upon him. —John

ESPM: Prayer for the Feb Amor Team

Join ESPM as we send off the first of two Amor House-building teams (This Amor team leaves on Friday, Feb 14—fitting, huh!). 31 collegians and young adults will be going. And we need your prayers! The collegians attending this Feb trip are Damien Au, Nathaniel Chiu, Jordan Mark and Nathan Mark. (Way to represent, Commuters!)

March Amor Trip

Invest a portion of your spring break into building a house for the poor. Change a family's life by exercising your faith...and body. Updates
Congratulations to Pastor John Ng, who was voted Sun, Feb 9, to be the pastor of Restoration, our church plant in Sierra Madre! Praise God!
Congratulations to Daniel Keng, who was also voted—and hired—as our new Youth Minister! Praise God—again!
The College Minister Search is still going on. We have a candidate who is being processed through a series of interviews. When the time is right, a name will be revealed. Stay tuned. Even better, pray that God will provide the next college minister.
