It's finally nice to experience winter here, isn't it? Even though we're almost into spring, the cool weather and rain has been a nice relief. It's a great reminder that God is in charge of the small things like weather as well as the big things in our lives. I hope we can pause to appreciate, be grateful, and praise Him for making all things 'here below.' May creation be something that always reminds us to of how great God has been, is currently, and will be in our lives! Here are some things to remember this month of March:

Customs: FCBC Summer Missions
We've got 4 huge opportunities this summer for your prayerful consideration:

SUMMER AMBASSADOR for Christ in YOKOHAMA, JAPAN
Partnering with IMB Missionaries serving the city
Field work includes: prayer for city, support existing ministries in local schools, help students in conversational english, represent Christ the King, eat. converse. laugh
Requirements: a servant's heart to serve those who serve others, flexible attitude toward uncertain events/plans, valid travel passport, 4-6 committed members, meet at least one-third of total cost
Travel dates: 12-14 days, July/August 2018

SUMMER SERVICE experience in KANDERN, GERMANY
Partnering with Aaron & Jennifer Fung at Black Forest Academy
Field work includes: general maintenance and facility improvements, ministry to missionary kids while parents engage in meetings and training, encourage and bless missionaries, eat. converse. laugh.
Requirements: a servant's heart to serve those who serve others, flexible attitude toward uncertain events/plans, valid travel passport, 4-6 committed members, meet at least one-third of total cost
Travel dates: 8-10 days, August 2018

SUMMER MISSION experience in CHIANGMAI, THAILAND
Partnering with the Centre and serving alongside Denise Poon
Field work includes: support the mission of the centre, help english camps, lead and help in cooking classes, participate at game nights, encourage and bless missionary, eat. converse. laugh.
Requirements: a heart for those needing Jesus, bold spirit to engage new people, flexible attitude toward uncertain events/plans, valid travel passport, 5-10 committed members, meet at least one-third of total cost
Travel dates: 10-12 days, June/July 2018

SUMMER TEACHING experience in CHIANGRAI, THAILAND
Partnering with local schools alongside Lilian Hu
Field work includes: creating and teaching english lessons at two local schools, participate in after school programs with students, engage and encourage missionaries, eat. converse. laugh.
Requirements: some teaching experience, boldness to engage in conversations, willing to experience new cultures, flexible attitude toward uncertain events/plans, valid travel passport, 6-10 committed members, meet at least one-third of total cost
Travel dates: 12-14 days, July 2018

Good Fri Service: Mar 30 (7:30p)  |  Resurrection Sunday: Apr 1 (10:45a)
Look ahead in your calendar and plan to come back to celebrate the work of Christ on the cross for us. Even think about bringing a friend to one or both of these events! This is a great opportunity to connect back with your church, community, and Christ. Hope to see you there!
