October Flight Itinerary

Welcome to October! As we're all into the full swing of things--school, work, events, etc, let's not forget all that God has called us to do and be. While things may seem more difficult up ahead, remember: Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain. (Philippians 2:14-16) There's much to look forward to and much opportunity to shine as lights in the places that God has put us!

 FCBC Fall Baptism

Want to get baptized this fall? FCBC will have a baptism service in November. That means you'll need to turn in an application, get 3 references, and write a 2-page testimony. This WAS due by October 1 (YESTERDAY!). So if you're interested, contact Darren right away! darrenlo[at]fcbc[dot]org

Come join us for some food, fellowship, and catching-up. We'll hear testimonies of what God is doing in the lives of some of our students and enjoy some sharing together. Make plans for coming back so we can see each other!


Alpine Halloween Event

Our neighbors, Alpine Rec Center is holding a Halloween Community Carnival with games, prizes, and contests. They are looking for a group of volunteers to help them run this great event! This month would be the perfect time to apply for a passport if you're thinking about missions in the (near) future. And even if you're not, you never know when God will call you to an opportunity outside of the country. Be ready and willing by taking care of this simple, but necessary step.
