Acts 13:1-3
Now there were at Antioch, in the church that was there, prophets and teachers: Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
As we take a moment each day this week to get to know what Chinese Mission Convention (CMC) is all about, let's be prayerful about how God is leading us also as individuals. This conference will give us a chance to consider participating as a Kingdom builder in a significant way. But this can only come through prayer as we read from Acts. Take a moment today, to pray for yourself. That you would be available to God's call and you would consider attending this year's CMC. And as we pray through aspects of the conference this week, pray that you would be willing to hear God's direction and an open heart to follow through.
