July Flight Itinerary

Welcome to July--the year is moving quickly! As I sat on the driveway cement, drinking a Coca-cola, enjoying the view of some (ground) fireworks, I couldn't help but think about our freedom. What an honor and privilege it was to be able to freely enjoy the day--eating bbq and playing outside--all without nearly a care or worry. And yet I continued to revel in the freedom we have in this country as well as in our faith. What an even greater, more powerful place we have to freely live in Christ! Thank you, Jesus for your amazing sacrifice and grace, so that we might sit and enjoy the view, but also be immensely grateful for having life in You and for You. This summer, I hope you get the opportunity to not only enjoy the season, but to revel in the abundant freedom we have because of what Christ has done in our lives--each and everyday. Let's use this time for Him!


 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
(Hebrews 12:1-2)

 Alpine Rec Movie Nights
Saturdays | July 29 & Aug 19 | 7:30pm | Alpine Park
Did you know there's a local park right next to our church? We're partnering with them this summer to offer FREE movies this summer. Up next? How to Train Your Dragon 2 -- Flight is in charge of setting things up and serving food for July 29, so come out, support this community event, and if possible, help serve them! Let Darren know if you'd like to help out, we're looking for about 5 volunteers.

Join us to pray together with the church! We'll join ESPM (English-Speaking Prayer Meeting) and have the last 30 min to pray for Flight Ministry related items, then get ice cream at Scoops (paid for by Flight)! Please be on time.
