February Flight Itinerary

We're already one month into 2017, how's it going so far? Are you keeping up with goals and commitments so far? Has God taught you things over break that you're able to implement into your daily life? We're hoping and praying that no matter what your circumstances after 31 days of the new year that the God we believe in and the Word we hold to will be our constant for the rest of this year (and more)! Let's look ahead together to what God has in store this month:

Are you ready to join the everyday mission of God? The Send North America Conference is a two-day gathering of the church in North America. The heart of this gathering is to see a movement of people from within the church living out the mission of God in their everyday lives. More info here.

We have an opportunity as Flight Ministry to join in this conference dedicated to focusing on our mission to the world. Interested in missions this summer? This is a great way to dedicate time to seeking God's guidance and counsel to where He might want you to go. Come join us as we seek God together! Since this is a conference, we'll need those attending to register here. The cost is $50 and includes 3 meals during the conference!

Come on out for an intentional lunch to share life with, get to know, and engage each other over lunch. We're sticking around church this time, so look out for announcements on the FB page or meet in the Worship Center courtyard after service on this Sunday! Look forward to getting to know you through this special time.

Right after worship service, let's gather together and pray about where God may be leading us on missions this year. Whether it's with FCBC or with a school fellowship, let's seek God's guidance to put us in the right place for His glory to be shown to the nations. This will be a quick prayer gathering with short, guided prayer instructions--it'll only last about 10 min. We'll be meeting every Sunday in February to pray together.

Over the quarter system spring break, another trip to Mexico will take place, please pray and consider joining us! This trip is scheduled for college students, so let's take part. This is a great introduction to missions and is a great way to serve God and fellowship together in a unique way. Questions and sign ups can be found here. 40 days of sacrifice and fasting to identify with the humble sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Would you consider using these days to either remove some aspect of your life that distracts you from God? Or add a spiritual discipline in your life for these 40 days to help you focus more? More to come...
