Day 08 - Success in Gospel Witness

Acts 13:11-12
"Now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and not see the sun for a time." And immediately a mist and a darkness fell upon him, and he went about seeking those who would lead him by the hand. Then the proconsul believed when he saw what had happened, being amazed at the teaching of the Lord.

"Pray that many would come to know Christ in all walks of life from the faithful witness" (David Platt). Praying in belief that the work of the Gospel will bring people to Christ is a great attitude to have. Not that we focus and are measured by these results, but putting our trust in the work of Christ to save, should be our aim. Pray that we seek, hope, and trust in God's ability to save, and that we pray for those who hear to believe. Pray for open and available hearts, that many who hear would surrender their hearts to God.
