Lift Off! Missions Minded - Day 05
Acts 13:29-32
When they had carried out all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the cross and laid Him in a tomb. But God raised Him from the dead; and for many days He appeared to those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, the very ones who are now His witnesses to the people. And we preach to you the good news of the promise made to the fathers,
"By grace, [we] would clearly communicate the character of God, the sinfulness of man, the sufficiency of Christ, the necessity of faith, and the urgency of eternity." (David Platt) A clearly communicated Gospel message begins with knowing the Gospel message first. Pray that we would know the message of Christ's life--not only in speaking it, but believing in it. Pray that you would be a proclaimer of God's good news in speech and action. That the loving actions today, make a difference for future opportunities to present the Gospel as an example of Christ. Pray that you would be the best representation of His loving message daily.
