Missions Information

Location: St. Louis, MO (WLS) &
Hard Rock, AZ (Navajo Reservation)

With a team of 6 other collegians, we will be attending the Warrior Leadership Summit (WLS), a Native American Christian conference outside of St. Louis, Missouri. There, our team will build relationships with the Navajo through leading small group times during the conference. We will also be training them to lead small groups for the following on the Navajo Reservation where we'll join our High School Missionary Team (HSMT) in Hard Rock, Arizona. During this time, we will co-lead small groups with the Navajo we worked with at WLS at a VBS with the local church.
Please pray for an open heart and boldness as I interact with the Navajo. Pray for an unwavering heart for them despite any discomfort during the trip (i.e. humidity, high temperatures, strenuous activities, etc.) Please also pray for the Navajo to be open toward our presence and willingness to be trained for leading. Pray that I will be able to prepare for the trip while juggling summer school and energy during the two weeks working with the local people and our teams. Lastly, pray for continued safety and protection as we travel to the two different locations--that the Holy Spirit will be our guide throughout the entire trip and its activities.
