Lift Off! Month of Missionaries (2016) - Day 25

Missions Information
June 22 - August 5
Location: Thailand
Organization: InterVarsity (IV)

Our group will be separated into different teams and sites to live incarnationally among the people while working with organizations in each region. We will be showing God's love in our everyday actions, and learning more about what being a part of His global mission looks like internationally. I believe God has a heart for the urban poor because He says we are to look out for them. Although I have learned much about who God is, I know there is more to be understood. I want God to show me how He cares for people who are different from me through learning cross culturally.

I invite you to pray with and for me in this experience: Please pray as we travel globally that we seek God for who He is and have an open heart to listen to His voice. Pray that the language barrier would not stop us from engaging in the community we work with and for God's protection throughout the trip. Pray also that I would choose to care for my team--this includes being a good listener when and if conflicts arise. My hope is that nothing hinders our impact to the people we minister to.
