Lift Off! Month of Missionaries (2016) - Day 30

Missions Information

Location: Forest Falls, CA
Organization: The Navigators

I was a team member at the 2014 Golden State Summer (GSS), but the program and my role in it have changed. I will be serving as a team leader at the 2016 GSS, which will take place at Forest Home Camp & Conference Center. I will be trained by Navigators staff to train other college-age girls to be and make disciples. The responsibilities of a team leader include:

  • Discipling the girls on my team
  • Leading a Bible study with my team
  • Evangelizing at local college campuses
  • Training under full-time Navigators staff
  • Working 20 hours a week as Forest Home staff

I am excited to be equipped and to equip others to be lifetime laborers for God’s kingdom! Covering the program in prayer is crucial in preparation and throughout the summer. Will you join me in prayer? Pray that members, leaders, and staff will:

  • Practice Biblical community (Acts 2:42-47)
  • Grow in understanding of God (Ephesians 1:17)
  • Find God-prepared people on college campuses who will believe in Christ (Luke 10:1-16)
