November Flight Itinerary

Who's ready for some turkey? I sure am! I love this season as it not only represents time with family and friends, it also causes me to think back and recall all the ways God has been faithful, powerful, and sufficient for all that I have asked for--and more! Let's be thankful this season and recognize God's favor on our lives throughout this month and more! Here's what's coming up this month:

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Grades 1-5 | Nov 23-25 | 9am - 4pm
This year, Children's Ministry has decided to host a VBS during the week of Thanksgiving (many elementary schools have the whole week off). If you are available this week, please consider volunteering to help out a class. Two shifts are available: 9am - 12pm and 1pm - 4pm. Contact Brian Wang or Tolman Yung for more information. Use this as an opportunity to share your faith and the Gospel to a child who may have never heard it before!

College/Young Adult Thanksgiving Dinner

Our annual Thanksgiving gathering is approaching. Mark your calendar and prepare to join a festive night. $5 with on-line RSVP (until Sunday, 11/22; $10 at the door.) First-time friends to FCBC eat for free (but please RSVP). Look out for RSVP via Flight and YA websites and Facebook.

Passage: Operating on Faith

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. Hebrews 11:1-2 (NLT) Come join us on Sunday mornings for a study of these people of faith! We'll look at their examples of faith and how we can grow in our faith through their lives.

Flight Winter Retreat

Early registration info: $115 early-bird until Nov 29, $135 until Dec 20, and $145 late after Dec 20. Save-up, sign-up, and pack-up for this time to focus on God! Registration info to come VERY soon.

Urbana 2015
A number of our students are headed to St. Louis, Missouri for this large missions conference (Dec 27-31). Look out for support letters and pray for them! They're also planning a large fundraising event on Sunday, Nov 22, so plan on being home and giving them your support.
