Location: Lake Ozark, Missouri and Hard Rock, Arizona
Organization: On Eagles' Wings and Twin Mesa Bible Church
This year Flight Ministry, has a unique opportunity to participate and do ministry. For 2 weeks, 4 collegians and 2 adults will be on a trip that encompasses two areas of ministry--the Warrior Leadership Summit (WLS) in Missouri, and VBS in Arizona. Our first week will partner with those attending WLS: a Native American Christian conference for teenagers and young adults. We get to minister to 20 Navajo teenagers/collegians/young adults from Hard Rock, AZ, and then help our high school missionary team from FCBC with VBS at Twin Mesa Bible Church in Hard Rock, AZ--specifically helping serve in the teens’ class.
Holly's prayer requests:
Please pray for the uncertainties: this being my first missions trip, not really knowing the process of this trip, the navajo culture, as well as knowing few people since I'm new to the church. Also pray for rest before the trip since it has been hectic this past month from graduating.
Katlyn's prayer requests:
Pray for me because I'm taking summer school online and I'm really worried that I either won't get everything done or my mind will be distracted while on the trip. Pray that while I'm there I wouldn't have to worry about school--both mental and spiritual readiness.
