Customs:2015 Summer Opportunities

Have you thought about what you may do this summer? Perhaps give missions some thought and prayer? Consider sharing the Gospel or receiving training with Flight Ministry this summer! Here are some opportunities for you to prayerfully think about:


 Missions Formation Experience
8 Sundays, June 14 - Aug 2
Flight's primary missions focus this summer is an opportunity to receive training and aims to expand your perspective in the area of missions. More than a class, it includes hands-on outings, small group discussion, guest speakers, and discipleship training. More details here.

Arizona Missions (w/ HSMT)
July 4 - 12
Each year, our High School Missionary Team (HSMT) goes to the Navajo Reservation outside of Flagstaff, AZ to host a VBS at a local church. This opportunity is open to those willing to join this team and help in specific ways for this trip (areas of service may be dictated by leadership of HSMT). If you're interested, contact Frank Tran or Spencer Sun.

Warrior Leadership Summit (+ Arizona w/ HSMT)
June 28 - July 12
Introducing a unique missions experience for the Navajo people! The Warrior Leadership Summit (WLS) gathers Native Americans throughout the country for a discipleship conference to introduce and empower attendees towards a life with Jesus Christ. This opportunity gives collegians an opportunity to attend WLS as leaders/chaperones with Navajo youth from Arizona. We will then partner with Navajo collegians/young adults to offer training for HSMT's VBS classes. More WLS info here. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Spencer Sun.

Missions Through Campus Ministries
If you are planning to attend a missions trip through your campus fellowship (AACF, EPIC, Cru, IV, Navs, etc), please let me know! We would love to help support you as a church and give you an opportunity to share this experience with our ministry as you go serve God and His people.
