Many times we make plans and form teams for missions knowing and thinking we will make an impact towards people in a few short days/weeks and ask God to bless those plans. The missions formation experience will aim to reformat this type of thinking and create a structure for missions as a long-term process of transformative discipleship. Through small group elements and practical engagement, this structure aims to reshape our views on missions planning and help us engage the global mission even outside of a Eastern (Asian) perspective.

Participation Requirements
- Person must be a Christian and baptized.
- Supply a brief salvation testimony.
- Attendance: 8 Sundays (May only miss 1 Sunday; Practical activity may span a weekend)

What will we be doing?
- Reading/Discussing the book Western Christians in Global Mission: What's the Role of the North American Church? (Paul Borthwick) [Amazon link]
- Small group discussions
- Hear from various organizations and missionaries
- Practical activities (off-site)
Cost
- $15 for book (Collegians will be reimbursed for purchase)
