Happy New Year!
Last Wednesday at our special New Year's Lift Off! prayer meeting, I encouraged everyone to make a commitment to read the Bible daily and to follow a plan. I've created a group just for this at this link so that we can see each others' progress and encourage one another! Join us here and we'll keep track and (hopefully) on pace together this year.
You can also use this website through an app on your smartphone (search: Faithlife). This app not only has purchase-able Bibles and books, but it allows you to access these reading materials even while being offline. So no matter where you go, you always have access to this reading plan AND any other devotionals/books for your spiritual growth! The app has free books monthly, so feel free to use it for multiple reasons.
Lastly, if you join this group for the year to read through the Bible, Flight ministry will pay for 1 version of the Bible so that you can more easily accomplish the commitment to read the Bible in a year (about $10). Just let me know if you would like to do that and I'll get you reimbursed! And of course, if you finish the Bible plan in 1 year, Flight has a special reward for you at the end of the year! Let's read together and see what God will teach us!!
