Something(s) new.
"Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert."
Isaiah 43:19

Greetings! As I thought what my first post would be about, I was lead to this verse in Isaiah. While it's only been a little over a week since I first started as your College 'Pastor', I've been considering what 'new' things could be implemented into our ministry. (And I'm sure you've been wondering the same thing!) As God begins to reveal to Isaiah, the prophet, He foreshadows His coming, redeeming work. Not only for the people of Israel while in captivity in Babylon, but also of the new redemption work that approaches--Jesus Christ! 

As there could be new things implemented into Flight Ministry in the near future, I will always consider how they will (and must) point back to the 'new' thing that God suggests to the prophet: His Son. The real question is, "Will you not be aware of it?" Let's pay attention to what 'new' things God will do with this ministry as we work together!
