CONGRATULATIONS to our 2012 Graduates!
Praise God for directing and maturing you through these college years! He is Good and praiseworthy!
As you enter into this next stage of life take the directive from Joshua 1:7-9, "Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave to you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

College women will have a guest speaker: Alicia Wong. She will be speaking exclusively to our collegiate women about their significance in the lives of other women. Alicia is a former FCBCer, and God's taken her on some great adventures. She currently is Assistant Professor of Women's Ministries at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Forth Worth, Texas. Her educational, ministerial and travel experiences are extensive.
The college men will have special speaker, Danny Orh, who will address the topic of the man God wants him to be. Danny is a graduate from UCLA, who was also AACF's Core Coordinator. He comes with an excitement to see his brothers in Christ become strong men of God.

connections: Women's Summer Bible Study
Gals, don't miss this golden opportunity to be engaged in God's word through the summer. Balance out all that freedom and frolicking with growing with other gals through scripture, prayer and fellowship. Contact Marissa Chew or Jessica Lam. Backpack Drive for Castelar Students.
FCBC will be donating 700 backpacks to Castelar Elementary School but YOUR help is needed to fill them. Every Sunday in July, a drop-off bin will be available in the courtyard to collect unused school supplies. Help us meet our goals! Pick-up a supply-list card and hit those Targets! (Please note: specific details apply to some supplies.)CommFair2012. Thanks to many of you who participated in a great Community Fair! It was a great display of how the entire church comes together to bless our Chinatown neighbors and community! CONGRATULATIONS to collegians from CSULB, who banded together to host a game booth, "The Ducky Derby"! They win a free AYCE Korean BBQ dinner!
