“By the star of Bethlehem, God, You led the Magi to Jesus. Now lead us all this Christmas to Jesus by the light of Your love. Amen.”

“In Bethlehem, the city of David, God, You gave us Jesus our Savior. May we all use this Advent day to prepare to welcome Jesus into the city of our hearts. Amen.”

“Lord, thank you for promising us with a Savior and for fulfilling your promise in Jesus. We remember that in this season of Advent how amazing it is that Your son came as a baby and lived amongst us as God in the flesh. Amen.”

“As children of Adam and Eve, we are also sinners. In this season of Advent, open us, God, to Your words of promise—promise of our Savior. Amen.”
