More Than Me
MORE THAN ME 2011-12.
A Summer of Love..Bring Jesus to our world.
"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me."A Summer of Love..Bring Jesus to our world.
As a student, you can be wrapped up with important things: classes, studying, homework, new-found friends, work, clubs or fellowships, internships. The list goes on. But despite these constants, Jesus requires that we look outward toward those in need. The mandate of our faith is that we go forward in Jesus' name to change this world. This might mean being involved in an event or program that doesn't benefit you but leaves you blessed. You don't get any reward except you represent the work of Christ. Your gain is that Jesus is made real to others. This year, do something that's for others, especially those who do not know Jesus. Do something worthwhile than just for your own reward.
