“Don’t be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to serve him, and to be his ministers and burners of incense.” 2 Chronicles 29:11
Hey everyone,
Hope you're trying to enjoy what remains of your "Spring Break" for those that were on it this week. Also for those that are about to be on break, praying that you're able to adjust to the new way of school, finishing up any projects, and coping with the new way of taking tests too! Please know that despite the isolation orders, church and ministry are not that far away from you. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to someone or our ministry: darrenlo[at]fcbc[dot]org.
We'll continue to be meeting over Zoom for Annex! Check FB for events as usual, we'll play a quick game, do some sharing, and hear a short devotional. Sorry no dinner :(
Some things to keep in mind this week:
WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!
- Mercy Fund | FCBC has allocated special funds to assist those who are facing financial difficulties, including during this coronavirus pandemic. Please contact us or one of the pastors and they will direct you to the Mercy Ministry deacons.
- Lay Counseling Available | If you are in need of someone to talk to, brothers and sisters are available to provide lay counseling support. Please email your contact info and a brief description of your concerns to care@fcbc.org and someone will respond to you as soon as possible. These conversations will be private and confidential.

Sunday is the Lord’s Day and that is unchanged even though we are “safer at home”. We call you to set aside time to pray, sing, hear from God’s word, and to seek Him. Though we are apart, we can still worship God. Life is crazy right now, so let’s turn to Christ as our sure foundation! - PRAYER MEETING will be held over Zoom (Video Conference) on Wednesdays at 8pm:
Please go to fcbc.la/pray for details and instructions on all our gatherings. - NEW LIFE LENT DEVOTIONS Let’s continue to look to God in this time by reading, reflecting, and praying upon His Word. Weekly devotions are posted here.
- GIVING online is highly encouraged and would greatly help our church as we continue to minister to people during the COVID-19 crisis. You may still send your offering check by mail but processing may be delayed. To give online: fcbc.la/give
