February Flight Itinerary
Welcome to February! A LOT has happened in this year already--and not all of it has been that great. But let's continue to lean into what is doing in our lives whether we see it or not. What God has for us is for His good and purposes, so keep aiming to live for His glory and not your own. If you feel anxious, down, or having a difficult time, don't forget to look at Jesus--He is the author and perfecter of our faith and above all, remember to lift these things up to God in prayer. Need help? Reach out to others and let them know how you're doing. We're also here to listen and pray for you, let us know!
HUB: February
Sunday, Feb 16 | 8:45am | Life Center 302-303

Amor: Mexico House Building Missions
March 21-24 | Tijuana or Tecaté, Mexico | Sign up by Feb 16
We've been partnering with a House-Building Ministry in Mexico (Amor) for the past few years to serve the people across the border. This is a great opportunity to engage in missions if you've never been on a trip before. Some physical labor required. Sign up here, don't wait! Come. Build. Hope.
Customs: Summer Mission 2018
Going on missions this summer? Whether with FCBC, fellowship group, or affiliate, let us know! If you're planning on asking for church support, please contact Darren about your considerations. There is great opportunity for the church to walk alongside you through the process, trip, and post-trip. [Email (darrenlo[at]fcbc[dot]org), text, or chat]
Passports! Get your passports!
Considering summer missions? Take a look at your passport and make sure it is renewed, up-to-date, and not expiring soon. Some countries require your passport to be valid for up to 6-months upon entering. If you need to renew, do so now, it could take 6-8 weeks to process.
Easter Season 2020
Lent (Feb 26 - Apr 9) | Good Friday (April 10) | Easter Sunday (April 12)
Easter is coming up, so start preparing, thinking, and remembering the great sacrifice of Jesus Christ now. This season is an opportunity to acknowledge the great work of the Gospel in our own lives, so don't let it pass you by or forget until the last minute. What is something you might sacrifice (Lent)? How will you remember His great work? How will you take steps to recognize and celebrate?
Our church will be focusing in on experiencing 'new life' in Christ through weekly devotionals and prayer gatherings on Sundays. We'll send out weekly devotionals throughout the Lent season and we'll be posting these on the blog. Keep up with prayers and readings, then gather as the body of Christ on Sundays to pray together for newness and transformation in our lives. More information to come.
