Romans 12:10
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.
Passionately share this culture in the church. Be one who celebrates and shares a culture of outreach to refugees through efforts in the church. Be a person who maintains information and shares it with others so that the church may be able to work together in support of this cause. Create even more opportunities for prayer and information to be displayed and announced to the congregation in order to maintain a connection with refugees around the world. Lastly, create efforts to continue the work of giving, praying, and supporting refugees continually--through short announcements, social media, and perhaps even in the missions field.
Pray that we don't stop praying for refugees after these 40 days. That our church would consider taken a larger role in supporting refugees as a church-wide effort. Pray that God would raise up individuals who would champion a heart for refugees, to lead these causes, and to stir a heart for support beyond this simple campaign.
