WLS+AZ Missions Profile: Jared Lau
To be honest I didn’t pray or think much initially when hearing about and deciding to come on this missions trip to Arizona. However, after reflecting on how God has shaped and molded me through four years of college, I realized the need to share His Gospel with others. He has equipped me with Gospel teaching through church and also service to Him through on-campus college ministry. God has truly cultivated a heart for the lost, and for His glory to be known amongst the nations. This trip placed a burden on my heart to help equip brothers and sisters to discover more of who God is through His Word. Also, the timing worked out so perfectly where God was able to grant me time off of work in order to go for these two weeks.
What are you looking forward to the most?
One
of the things that I’m looking forward to see the most is the desire from the Navajo
Youth to learn about God. To see how God has worked in their lives, and
continues to mold and shape them in Christ. Also, to see from that desire for
God how they want that with generations of Navajo to come.
How can we pray for you?
Please pray
for my personal and the team’s preparation as we head out. That we would come
with humble hearts and boldness, as we enter the first week of many unknowns at
the Warrior Leadership Conference. Pray for constant reliance on God, and that
we would find our strength in solely Him. Apart from Him we can do nothing. Thank
