Lift Off! Easter - Day 10

Day 10: Mercy
Reading: Psalm 51

 Read through this passage a few times and chew on each of the important verbs the psalmist describes: wash, purify, create, restore, deliver. They are such powerful words and statements of a promise that God continues to forgive and bring restoration to our lives everyday. Hold on to these truths this season--we cannot escape God's immeasurable grace. How much more in this season! Give God your fears, desires, and especially sins; He can and will forgive in His unending mercy.


  • Use this time to pray over your life and some of the sins/struggles you need forgiveness for. 
  • Seriously pray through each sin one by one and hand them over to His forgiving grace.
  • Pray v.17 and ask for a broken spirit and contrite heart. This is asking for a desire for permanent change.
  • Pray for freedom in any sins you are trapped in.
