Welcome to Flight College Ministry!

 Hello Collegians! 
At this season, we enter into a new year and a time of transition. (Our freshmen are beginning college (congrats!), others are advancing in their majors (or contemplating new ones), and some have graduated—super congrats!). Things are a-changin'. As the days ahead are new, and each one has its own challenges, find that God is unchanging and always faithful. You can put your trust in God, who is the same yesterday, today and forever. 

 Oktoberfest @ Hub Fellowship
Sun, Oct 6. Life Center, 12-1:30pm.
Hallo Collegians! It's the first HUB for the year. Come for fellowship, fun and food, and we'll commemorate Oktoberfest with sausages, pretzels and (root)beer.
Lunch is $3. Please RSVP at Facebook by 10/2 to ensure there will be enough food. Danke! (If you don't have FB, RSVP at flight@fcbc.org.)
Limited Edition buttons will be given away.

Alpine Halloween Carnival and Movie Night
Sat, Oct 26. Alpine Recreation Ctr. 
Here's a great opportunity to partner with our neighbor and create a fun event for the community. 1) Volunteer at Alpine's Annual Halloween Carnival (12p-5p). Kids from the neighborhood play games set up and supervised by volunteers. 2) Then stay for the evening to host FCBC+Alpine's Movie Night—Monsters' Inc (5p-8p). This is a great way to bless our community. 
Volunteer shifts are: 12-3, 3-5, 5-8. If you've got questions or are ready to help, contact San Thach, Darren Lo or Daniel Spickard. (*All volunteers are required to be finger-printed. Check with contacts for how this is easily done.)
