 Prayer and Fast
Sun, Apr 7, at Passage (8:45a; Life Center 302-303) and English Worship (10:15a; Worship Center)
Join the church in prayer and fasting. The minimum fast is breakfast. The stretch goal for collegians is breakfast AND lunch.
Here are notes from Pastor Chris' message on preparing to fast:
1) Fasting requires preparation, it's not just showing up that day. Effective fasting is an extension of your walk with God, and it is not a "stand-alone" or independent event.
2) Take time to assess your spiritual readiness, confessing and repenting of anything that is not right before God.
3) Bring your hearts in alignment with God's so that you can be focused on what God wants, not what you want. 
4) Actively seek to bless others, especially the oppressed and needy.

 Summer Missions
Thailand is Here! Through conversational English classes and meeting with students, create opportunities to reflect Christ and speak of Him. Faith in action. (You don't need summer school or a job.)
-Approximate travel dates are June 27 to July 14. 
-Approximate cost is $1500 (support available)

Passports! If you plan to travel, apply or renew for a passport now. Normal processing can take 4-6 weeks. Expedited (rush) fees can be upward of $75 additional dollars. From experience, unnecessary stress and anxiety can be avoided simply by handling this significant issue early.

Thanks for the Prayer for Amor Team #2!
The team really well. Despite the smaller team (13) and the inexperience in carpentry, we went quite far. We poured a small portion of the foundation to complete it, built all the walls, assembled all the frames, added the roof, and put up bailing wire and tar paper around the house. Well done! These could not have been completed without your prayers and the oversight of God. May God use this house to bring people into a relationship with Him. ¡Muchas gracias!
